One With Jesus and God

There is so much more after we are saved. Jesus is spending lots of time in prayer for us after we are saved. Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV) Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
I believe that Jesus' greatest prayer for  us after we are saved is that we become one with Him and the Father God. Jesus stated this prayer in John 17:20-23 (NKJV) 20 "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
This is the main purpose of our creation. this is the main purpose of Jesus Christ coming into the world. He came to restore the relationship man had with God before Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden.  When we are one with God that means we have His mind and attitude about the way to live and the way to handle the things we face in this life. The result is the abundant life.

John 10:10b (NKJV) I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.  In this scripture it states that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. To experience this in our lives we must be growing in our relationship with God.. So many Christians after they are saved never grow in their relationship with God. They don't read God's word, they don't pray. Some do not even go to church to worship God there with the saints. As a result they live defeated lives. This article is to encourage you not to be one who doesn't grow closer to God but to be one who desires closeness with God. If you think about it, God controls everything in life so if we are close to Him as we can be then we are likely to have His blessings and protection in our lives. If we read the word of God on a daily basis we begin to see the many promises and blessings God has for us. We see from God's word the path in life to take and the path not to take. Growing in Jesus and God is the key to victorious living in this world.
This intimate relationship with God is the answer to overcoming all of lives test, trials, disappointments and all other problems that constantly plague mankind.
If we live in an intimate relationship with God then the bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 "We can bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Without intimacy with God this is not possible. I would strongly encourage to work on your relationship with God through the power of the Holy Spirit. You can not do this without giving up your will for His. And you won't do that until you are convinced that God's word really means what it says. It is always right whether we think so or not. God cannot and will not lie.
God wants to bless all His children but we must be in a position to receive those blessings and favors. The way we do that is to read God's word daily and then begin to do what we read. James 1:22 (NKJV) 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Let's not deceive ourselves but let us be doers of the word whereby we please God and begin to live the abundant life as God intends for us.
I pray that as you read this you will be encouraged to do these things so God's blessings and favor will rest on you. This will affect everyone around you which includes your family.
Hebrews 7:25b states that He (Jesus) is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him.
If you have never been saved from the penalty of your sins this verse is for you. Jesus is able to save you no matter what sin or sins you might have committed. Just ask Him to forgive you of your sins and then invite Him into your life to take charge of you. Then to show your sincerity, go to church and be baptized. Join that church and begin to worship and praise God there in that place. You will experience a great change in your life for the better and then you will have God's Holy Spirit in you to help you as you go through the things of this life. And on top of that your eternal destiny will be heaven.
