Power Up

As you enter the grocery store and begin to shop you will pass a section that has power bars. They are designed to give you an energy boost. Do you need an energy boost in your spirirtual life? Are things in your life stale right now? If so the bible has some help for you today. Isaiah 40:29 (NKJV) 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. God can and will give you the spiritual energy to get so much more out of life than you might be enjoying right now at this point in your life. If your might is gone God can and will increase you strength.
But you must have a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to the Father God. In John 14:6 Jesus states
6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.  (NKJV)

If you don't have a personal relationship with God ask Jesus to save you from the penalty of your sins and invite Him into your heart to live in you. Then begin to read God's word which contains His promises to you and let the Holy Spirit be your teacher. Jesus invites you to come to Him in Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV) 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
Hook up with Jesus and see if you do not gain the power and strength you need for living your life each day. He will give you rest from the things that are wearing you out and leaving you empty.God delights in blessing His children with all He has to offer. We must read His word each day to receive the power and strength we need to live the abundant life.

We can find many promises in God's word such as found in Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Look at the promise made here. Every one who gets tired and weary from every day life can find a renewal of their strength by waiting on the Lord. What does it mean to wait on the Lord? It means to rely fully on Him to get you through each day instead of trying to live in your own strength. Relying on God means to to depend on confidently; put trust in. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Be encouraged today. God is waiting to help you but you must seek His help. We are to ask seek and knock. I pray for those who are reading this article right now. I pray that God Almighty will empower and strengthen you with His might right now. Agree with me in prayer to God for what you need right now. Put your trust in Him to answer this prayer and to help you not only today but every day in the future. May you experience Him and His power in a very real way as you enter the Easter season. Give your life's problems and worries completely to Him right now. He has heard your prayer! Now thank Him in Jesus' name! Amen- So Be It!
